Never dip a cake  pop when you first pull cake dough out of freezer, the chocolate will crack, always try and make sure your cake dough is room temperature before dipping into chocolate. :D

Cutting cake to shape

When cutting your cakes to shape them, it is always a good idea to freeze them for about an hour so you get a solid clean cut. This is especially helpful if your doing a topsy turvy cake.
